Dave Goehl was born in Mishawaka, Indiana and grew up in Miami, Florida. In 1990, he graduated from Barry University with a B.A. in Political Science and History. Thereafter, Dave graduated from the University of Miami School of Law in 1993. He is a member of the Florida Bar Association, Workers’ Compensation Section Member, is AV-Preeminent rated by Martindale-Hubbell and lectures on topics in workers’ compensation.
Dave began his legal career at Ribler, Gilmartin and Sanchez, as in-house counsel for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. Thereafter, he joined the firm of Pyszka, Blackmon, Levy, Mowers & Kelley where he represented clients, including Publix, Unisource Administrators, Specialty Risk Services and North American Risk Services. Over the course of his career, he has handled volume claims and gained invaluable trial and appellate experience. With his shared outlook on claims handling, of an aggressive approach with cost consciousness, he joined the firm in 2011.
